‘Liger’: Vijay Deverakonda feels Ananya Panday is 'overdramatic' and he had to match up her energy levels

Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda starrer 'Liger' released in theatres today. Ahead of its release, in an interview with India.com, Ananya was questioned if it was difficult to match the energy of Vijay while shooting the movie. Vijay interrupted and stated that it was in fact him who had to match up to the energy levels of Ananya as she is quite 'overdramatic'.

‘Ananya is an overdramatic person in real life so it was me who had to match Ananya as I am a bit slow in real life. I walk slow, and I talk slow, so I had to get into a different zone to match the energy of Ananya on the sets of Liger. It took a few days to match the level, but when I was there, it was totally a fun thing,’ Vijay told in the interview to India.com.

In a reply to Vijay’s comments, Ananya said ‘it is fun being overdramatic sometimes.’ The actor shared that her character in the movie is quite similar to her. She said, ‘There are similarities, but the character of Tanya is 100 times more than Ananya.’

Earlier, the 'Gehraiyaan' actor had shared a cute note for her co-star where she wrote, ‘Appreciation post for this guy right here @thedeverakonda I wouldn’t want it any other way and I couldn’t imagine this adventure with anyone else - you’re simply the best, thank you for being you!’

'Liger' is Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda’s first movie together. The film marks legendary boxer Mike Tyson's Bollywood debut.
