Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut goes on floors, Soha shares adorable pictures of him with daughter Inaaya

Actor Kunal Kemmu’s directorial debut ‘Madgaon Express’ went on floors on Wednesday. His actor-wife Soha Ali Khan shared the news on her Instagram handle along with several pictures from the set.

Kunal can be seen surrounded by his crew members along with a special guest – his daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Inaaya is seen sitting on her father’s lap and calling the first shot of the film.

Sharing the pictures, Soha wrote, ‘I have enjoyed being one of the few people who have heard your stories, marvelled at your creativity, laughed and cried often together because of something you said – and now it is time for you to share one of those stories with the world. I am so proud of you and so excited for them. You were probably not much older than Inaaya is now when you acted in your first film – it was only fitting she call action for your first shot on your first day as director. Good luck with the film @kunalkemmu You got this. @excelmovies #madgaonexpress.’

Kunal Kemmu had announced the film in August on social media. Sharing a post he wrote, ‘Ganpati Bappa moriya! As all good things begin with his name I can’t think of a better day to share this with all of you. It started with a thought in my head which grew into a dream which flowed out through my fingers into words on my laptop and now it is becoming a reality on its way to the silver screen.’

‘Madgaon Express’ is being bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's production house and is being produced by Excel Entertainment.

Kunal Kemmu has been working in the film industry since childhood. He has acted in films like ‘Raja Hindustaani’, ‘Zakhm’, ‘Tamanna’, ‘Kalyug’, ‘Lootcase’ among others.
