‘Koffee With Karan’: Karan Johar announces he’s brewing season 8; show will premiere on this date

Filmmaker Karan Johar took to social media to announce that his popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ is all set to return. The 8th season will start streaming from October 26 on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Sharing a hilarious video, Karan Johar wrote, ‘Turns out, my own Konscience wants to troll me too! But screw what he thinks, I’m still brewing Season 8’.

In the video, Karan is seen talking to his conscience, who tells him that the last season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ was boring and it could have been called ‘Kold Koffee With Karan’. He then takes a dig at the ‘cheese’ jokes with nepo babies and how KJo, a 50-year-old man, questioned 20-year-olds about their sex lives.

Karan’s conscience also highlighted how the host promoted the brand of his glasses and hair dye.

KJo, who is hurt by these statements, then says he will invite the newly married couple in town on the show. He says he will not invite star kids, but star grandkids or cricketers.

Karan concludes the video by saying that he’s brewing season 8 and it is going to be great.

According to DNA report, a press note from the streamer says that in the new season, ‘the conversation will be beyond marriages, airport looks, social media and toodles to toodles’.
