'Koffee With Karan:' Five times when Karan Johar was roasted on his show

Koffee with Karan Season 7 : Karan Johar is returning with the seventh edition of his popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan' and fans can't keep calm. We are all excited to witness the drama and confessions that will be made on the show.

Last month, the teaser of 'Koffee With Karan' gave us a glimpse of the stars who will be gracing the show. The guests' list includes Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor-Sara Ali Khan, and some new talents who will be making their debut on the show.

While the show has given us lots of laughs and entertainment, sometimes the butt of the joke has been KJo himself! Here's a look back at the times when celebrities roasted KJo on his own show.

Shah Rukh Khan (Season 1)

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan are the best of friends and they have delivered multiple hit films together. The actor was also the first guest on Karan Johar's show. During the rapid-fire, SRK was asked if there was an Indian film he wished he wasn't a part of, to which he quickly responded, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.'

Twinkle Khanna (Season 5)

Twinkle Khanna was at her candid best on the 'Koffee' couch. When asked to choose the 'coolest Khan' from the following - Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, she said, 'Why don't you have one more Khan - Fawad Khan and you answer this question.'

For the unversed, Karan Johar's film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' made headlines for featuring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan In the wake of Uri attack in 2016. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had sought a ban on the film.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput (Season 5)

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor's first appearance together on the show won many hearts. Mira asked KJo to rank the following actors in order of talent - Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. To which Shahid enquired why he wasn't on the list. Mira replied 'because he never mentions you in any of his lists. Her epic reply left Karan totally speechless.

'Mr Perfectionist' of Bollywood amazed us with his exemplary humour on the show. He was asked what was the one thing that he dislikes about the industry but has to pretend to like it. Well, he replied 'Your show.' ('Koffee With Karan')

Ajay Devgn (Season 6)

Ajay Devgn and Kajol gave us major couple goals when they appeared together on the show.
During the rapid-fire round, Karan asked Ajay what was the one superstition he's guilty of believing, to which he quickly replied, 'I had this superstition that all your films with ‘K' work, till we did 'Kaal.'
