'Koffee With Karan 7': Anil Kapoor reveals that he felt insecure about Jackie Shroff's success

‘Koffee With Karan 7’ is back with its latest episode featuring Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. The 'JugJugg Jeeyo' co-stars kept the viewers hooked with their conversation on their counterparts in the industry, infidelity and marriage. During the show, Anil Kapoor was asked to share his opinion on nepotism. To which he replied, 'I just don't take it seriously. I feel you just keep doing your work and your work speaks. This is a kind of question, especially if you are an actor, you can't pass on that legacy to your brother or son. You either have it or you don't. I remember when I started, there was Sunny (Deol), Sanju (Sanjay Dutt)..'.

Karan interrupted Anil and tried to add Jackie Shroff’s name to the list, but the actor replied that unlike others, Jackie was an outsider in the industry and he got his big break with a Subhash Ghai film.

When asked if he felt insecure of Jackie's success, Anil Kapoor admitted that he did feel so. He said, 'Jackie became a huge huge success and I remember it so well that on sets, when people came to take his autographs, Jackie asked me to sign the autograph book as well and that was amazing.'

His answer left the host surprised and Anil again reiterated that he was offered only bit roles at the beginning of his career and that he gradually grew as an actor.
