'Kill' review: Vicky Kaushal lauds the 'masterpiece', Ananya Panday says 'it's so bloody good'

After its Toronto International Film Festival premiere last year, 'Kill' is set to arrive in Indian theatres, and if first reviews are anything to go by, the Lakshya Lalwani starrer is a must-watch.

      Lakshya Lalwani and Raghav Juyal starrer 'Kill' is slated to release on July 5. The makers of the film, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2023, held a screening in Mumbai ahead of its big release in theatres. The screening was a star-studded affair graced by Aditya Roy Kapu, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor. Celebs who attended the screening have now taken to Instagram their reviews, and you simply can't miss it. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film has been directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat.

      Bollywood stars review Karan Johar-backed Kill

      Ananya Panday took to her Instagram stories to laud the crime thriller and said it's ‘so bloody good’. The 'Dream Girl 2' actor added, “You cannot miss this one. In theatres this Friday."

      Vicky Kaushal also couldn't stop praising the team for making the masterpiece. In his review, the actor mentioned, “What a film! I tip my hat off to each and everyone involved in making this film. People don’t know what’s coming their way.”

      Heaping praise on team 'Kill', Shanaya Kapoor added, “No words. Can’t wait to watch again. Mind blow.” She also tagged the lead actor of the film Lakshya and stated, “You killed it.”

      Sunny Kaushal was also in complete awe of the film. Re-sharing a poster of the crime thriller, he wrote, “What a fantastic ride this film is. Absolutely enjoyed the film from the first frame to the last. Congratulations to the whole team.”

      The official synopsis of the film reads, "In Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s relentless martial arts thriller, a passenger train bound for New Delhi becomes a bloody battleground of brutal close-quarters combat as a pair of commandos square off against a 40-strong army of invading bandits.
