'Khel Khel Mein': Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu's film set for September release, details inside

'Khel Khel Mein', starring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu, will be released on September 6, 2024, the makers announced on Saturday. The comedy-drama will be directed by Mudassar Aziz of 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' and 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' fame. Interestingly, the film's release date will coincide with Akshay's 57th birthday.

'Khel Khel Mein' release date out

The release date of Akshay and Taapsee starrer 'Khel Khel Mein' is finally here. Touted as a ‘Rollercoaster Ride of Laughter, Drama, and Loads of Fun’, the film is also set to release on September 6, 2024. Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan will also feature in pivotal roles. Additionally, the movie marks the reunion of Akshay with his co-stars Vaani Kapoor from 'Bell Bottom' (2021) Taapsee Pannu from 'Naam Shabana' (2017) and 'Mission Mangal' (2019).

Taapsee took to her Instagram profile to share a picture of the entire star cast. Sharing the post, she wrote, “Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of laughter, drama, and loads of fun! Mark your calendars for September 6, 2024, when #KhelKhelMein hits the theatres.

Akshay returns to the comedy genre

With ''Khel Khel Mein', Akshay is all set to return to comedy, a genre in which he has excelled many times in his flourishing career. Apart from this, Akshay's fans also look forward to his Marathi debut. The film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar will see him play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
