‘Khalnayak’ clocks 30 years: Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff celebrate milestone; Madhuri Dixit skips event

‘Khalnayak’, starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, and Jackie Shroff, marked 30 years since its release on August 6, 2023, and to celebrate this milestone the film returned to theatres on September 5.

On this special occasion, a premiere night event took place in Mumbai on September 4, and it was graced by lead actors Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, director Subhash Ghai, Alka Yagnik, and Ila Arun.

They were seen clapping, dancing, and hugging each other in joy while cutting the cake together.

Madhuri Dixit couldn’t attend the premiere night event but sent her best wishes through a video message.

During the media interaction, Subhash expressed his feelings and said, 'Today is a very very happy moment for us. For all three of us- Nayak (pointing at Jackie Shroff), Khalnayak (pointing at Sanjay Dutt) and the entire team. It is a proud moment that we are celebrating 30 years of 'Khalnayak' today. We feel as good as we used to attend premieres 30 years back. We need your blessings to move further.'

Recently, Madhuri Dixit took to Instagram to share a video of her moments from the film. Sharing the details, she wrote, ‘Celebrating 30 years of Khalnayak today! Incredible songs, everlasting memories, and immense love. Thank you for showing Khalanayak so much love. What was your favourite song from the movie? Can you guess mine? #Khalnayak #movie #30yearsofkhalnayak’
