‘Kaun Banega Crorepati-16’ coming soon: Will Big B return as the host? Know details of registration

Amitabh Bachchan created a social media storm few months back with his emotional farewell speech at the popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. While the audience was moved to tears, many wondered whether the megastar is ending his stint with the show. Putting an end to the speculation, Sony Television has shared the good news that the show and its beloved host will be back.

Big B will be back with KBC-16

The legendary actor will return as the host of the show for its sixteenth season. Sony Entertainment Television shared the exciting news with the fans along with a promo on their official Instagram handle.

The promo begins with Big B’s emotional speech which he gave during the last episode of the last season and after the video a voice talks about a new beginning. Sharing the news, the channel wrote, "So much love has been showered that it is returning once again, #KaunBanegaCrorepati . Starting #KBCRegistrations 26 April at 9pm. #KBConSonyTV #KBC16 #KBCIsBack."

Registrations for the long-running quiz show, hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, will begin from April 26. Big B has has hosted ‘KBC’ since it started in 2000, except for the third season in 2007, which was hosted by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The veteran actor will next be seen in filmmaker Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, also featuring his ‘Piku’ co-star Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, and Rajinikanth's ‘Vettaiyan’.
