Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal receive threats on social media, Mumbai police register case

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who recently returned to Mumbai after holidaying in the Maldives, have allegedly received life threats on social media, according to news agency ANI. Case has been filed at Santa Cruz police station on complaint of Vicky Kaushal.

According to Mumbai Police, the actor complained that one person has been threatening and posting threat messages on Instagram. He further stated that accused has been stalking his wife and threatening her.

Lucknow-based actor Manvinder Singh has been detained by the Mumbai police for threatening the couple. He is a huge fan of Katrina and had his heart set on getting married to the actor.

Earlier, Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan also received threats in the form of a letter which mentioned that the duo would meet the same fate as Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was killed in May. Swara Bhasker too received a death threat through a letter.

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, on December 9.

On the work front, Katrina will be seen next in ‘Tiger 3’. Her other forthcoming projects include ‘Phone Bhoot’, ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘Jee Le Zaraa’

Vicky Kaushal also has an interesting slate of films in the pipeline. He will be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s rom-com with Sara Ali Khan, ‘Sam Bahadur’, ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ and ‘Govinda Naam Mera’.
