Kareena Kapoor Khan confirms reuniting with Rhea Kapoor, but it’s not for ‘Veere Di Wedding 2’

Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is awaiting the release of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, talked about her new project during a recent interaction with news agency PTI. The actor mentioned that she is all set to reunite with Rhea Kapoor, producer of her 2018 film ‘Veere Di Wedding’. However, it is not for the second installment of the film. Kareena revealed that the new project will be slightly different and a super cool and fun story.

‘I am doing a film with Rhea (Kapoor). It is not Veere 2 (Veere Di Wedding). It is a story about three women. It is going to be slightly different. It's a super cool and fun story,’ Kareena told PTI.

She also disclosed that the cast for the film has been zeroed in. ‘Rhea has got two stellar actors. I can't reveal the cast, but I am very excited. I can't wait for her to announce. It will start by the end of this year or January,’ she added.

Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in the 2020 film ‘Angrezi Medium’, co-starring late actor Irrfan Khan, and Radhika Madan. Her film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, which is a remake of the 1994 film Forrest Gump, releases in theatres on August 11. The actor shot for parts of the film during her pregnancy. Kareena will next feature in Sujoy Ghosh's ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’, along with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. She has also collaborated with Ekta Kapoor to co-produce a film.
