Sharing the news, Karan Johar wrote, ‘The journey begins at the Toronto International Film Festival!’

Karan Johar’s production ‘Kill’ to premiere at Toronto International Film Festival | See 1st look

Karan Johar’s forthcoming production venture ‘Kill’, directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, is all set to premiere at the Midnight Madness section of the 48th Toronto International Film Festival. The lineup includes 10 films, and 7 of them are world premieres.

The event will be held from September 7 to 17.

Confirming the news on social media, the filmmaker also revealed the first look of the action film.

Actor Lakshya Lalwani is seen on the poster with wounds on his face and a knife held around his neck. His intense look is enough to intrigue viewers about the plot of the film.

‘The journey begins at the Toronto International Film Festival! ‘KILL’ - an action-packed high-octane film starring Lakshya - the next action hero to look out for. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film will premiere at Midnight Madness at TIFF 2023. Stay tuned, the official poster and teaser will be announced soon!!!’ Karan wrote.

Soon after this announcement, fans and many people from the industry congratulated the filmmaker. Gunnet Monga dropped fire and heart emojis, while Shanaya Kapoor commented, ‘Can’t wait!’

The official poster and teaser of the movie will be unveiled soon.

Johar is backing the film along with Dharma Productions CEO Apoorva Mehta, and Oscar winner producer Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment.

Actors Tanya Manktila and Raghav Juyal are also part of ‘Kill’.
