Karan Johar on revealing Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan's relationship: ‘What is true is true’

Karan Johar stirred controversy after confirming Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan's relationship on his chat show ‘Koffee with Karan 7’. The actors reportedly started dating during the shoot of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and parted ways closer to the release of their film.

Earlier, as per a report in bollywoodlife.com, Sara Ali Khan was upset that the filmmaker had made her relationship with Kartik public. Now, in a recent interview with talk show host Siddharth Kannan, Karan Johar responded to accusations about revealing personal details of celebrities on his show and said that everyone was aware of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ stars relationship as they have seen them together.

‘What is true is true and I suppose everyone is okay with it. I know people think its some kind of big revelation, everybody knows about everyone’s personal lives and they are okay with putting it out,’ he added.

Shutting down rumours of Sara Ali Khan’s dislike towards him, he mentioned that the

‘Kedarnath’ actor will be starring in two films produced by him.
‘Sara Ali Khan is gonna do an amazing film with me, which I'm producing, which is gonna be for Amazon and we are very excited. And there's one more film that she will do for us, for which I'm also very excited. That's her future related to me. I don't know anything else that's happening in her personal life,’ he said.
