Kapil Sharma opens up about his fallout with Sunil Grover, says 'when I was angry...'

Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma made headlines when he had a public brawl with fellow co-star Sunil Grover on a flight. Sunil was earlier a part of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ but he left the show after the violent altercation in September 2018. Now, Kapil has finally opened up about the incident.

In a recent interview, he shared that Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar, Krushna Abhishek, and Ali Asgar left the show for different reasons. He also admitted that while he had a fallout with Sunil, he is still on good terms with the others.

‘I’ve never felt insecurity. In fact, I’ve brought people on that I admired… I used to be short tempered, I’ll admit. It was in my blood; I was an extremist. I would love passionately, and when I was angry, I would really lose composure. But I have improved,’ Pinkvilla quoted Kapil as saying.

‘People say I have rivalries. But I have no rivalries with anybody, I am the one and only. Call me egotistical if you will…Ask them why they don’t want to work with me. Yes, Sunil and I had a falling out. But I’m on good terms with the rest of them,’ he added.

Kapil Sharma is currently busy promoting his forthcoming film ‘Zwigato’ which is scheduled to release in theatres on March 17, 2023. Directed by Nandita Das, the film also stars Shahana Goswami in the lead role.
