Here’s a look at major cases involving Kangana.

Kangana Ranaut vs Hrithik Roshan

The public mudslinging between Kangana and Hrithik will probably never go under the rugs of oblivion due to the leaked e-mails. In 2016, media reported that Hrithik sought police help, claiming that an unknown person was sending emails to Kangana from a fake ID. Kangana retorted saying, there was no imposter and the duo were communicating via e-mails since 2014. Police took Hrithik’s laptop and phone for probe, following which he send Kangana a legal notice for calling him his 'silly ex' and sending absurd message.

Kangana Ranaut vs Shiv Sena

Kangana triggered a political furore as she compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir after being slammed for criticising Maharashtra govt and Mumbai Police following Sushant Singh Rajput's death. She accused Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut of threatening her during an interview. The bitter exchange between the two on twitter was followed by BMC carrying out demolition at her office in the Bandra. She moved the Bombay High Court against the demolition. The court granted her relief and the demolition was stopped.

Kangana Ranaut vs Javed Akhtar

The roots of Kangana Ranaut Vs Javed Akhtar in the court lie in the Hrithik Roshan saga. It was the noted lyricist who first moved the court, claiming the Kangana had made defamatory comments against him during a TV debate in 2020. In his complaint, he claimed that the ‘Fashion’ actor dragged his name during an interview while referring to a 'coterie' existing in Bollywood. This happened following the alleged suicide committed by actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Kangana too moved the court against the lyricist accusing him of ‘extortion and criminal intimidation’. The actor claimed that she was insulted by Akhtar when she refused to apologise to Hrithik and claimed that he threatened her with serious implications and provoked her to commit suicide.
