Kangana Ranaut mocks paparazzi for not asking her about Priyanka Chopra’s comment on Bollywood

Actor Kangana Ranaut, who recently accused filmmaker Karan Johar of chasing Priyanka Chopra out of Bollywood, was spotted at the Mumbai airport on March 29. When she was greeted by the photographers, the ‘Manikarnika’ actor teased them for not questioning her about Priyanka’s recent interview in which she mentioned being ‘cornered’ in the Hindi film industry.

In the video that is being widely shared online, the actor is seen entering the airport and as she walked towards the photographers, Kangana says, ‘Vaise kaafi chalaak hain aap logg, haan? Agar film mafia ki koi controversy toh koi kuch nahi poochega (You people are quite clever, right? When there is any controversy involving the movie mafia, you do not ask anything)’

When the photographers said, ‘Hum toh sirf photo ke liye hain (We are here only to click pictures)’, Kangana replied, ‘Meri controversy ho toh aise chilaate hain. Ab tum question kyun nahi poochte (But when there is a controversy around me, you shout like anything. Why are you not asking any questions now)?’

Taking to Twitter, Kangana posted several selfies in which she’s seen striking different poses inside her car. Her post has been captioned,

‘Aaj airport jaate hue traffic bahut mila toh socha thoda apni khubsurati pe itra leti hoon … Kamiyaan mujhse bhi hongi shayad, lekin vanity ko shikaar main kabhi nahi rahi..Aab iss umar mein yeh bimari lag jaye toh (While going to the airport today there was huge traffic so thought of gloating over my beauty. I might have a few flaws but vanity isn't one of them. What if I became vain at this age)?’

Speaking with Dax Shepherd on his podcast Armchair Expert, Priyanka opened up about why she shifted base to the US. ‘I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break,’ she said.
