‘Jawan’: Netizens link this dialogue from Shah Rukh Khan starrer to Aryan Khan-Sameer Wankhede case

The action-packed trailer of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Jawan’ was released on August 31 and the netizens have caught on to one of the dialogues which they feel has a subtle reference to Aryan Khan's arrest in a drugs case.

In the trailer, SRK gives a stern warning to the villain Kalee, played by Vijay Sethupathi. He tells him, ‘Bete ko hath lagaane se pehle baap se baat kar (Before you touch my son, deal with his father.)’

Many fans associated it with the megastar’s love for his son Aryan Khan.

The story of Jawan is believed to revolve around a father-son relationship with Shah Rukh playing the double role.

Aryan Khan was arrested in 2021 for possession of drugs. Later, he was given a clean chit as Sameer Wankhede, an investigating officer on the case, was accused of asking for taking bribe from Shah Rukh.

An X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, “'Bete ko haath lagane se pahle, baap se baat kar' This dialogue is personal. If You know, You Know… #JawanTrailer”

Another wrote, “Bete ko haath lagane se pahle, baap se baat kar' SRK has given a clear message to Sameer Wankhede & his handlers in Delhi through #JawanTrailer. Also the screen says 'Produced by Gauri Khan' when you hear this dialogue :)”

A user also wrote, ““Bete ko hath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar” What a great and tight reply to bjp it cell and corrupt Sameer wankhede

Aryan Khan was reportedly the first one to watch the 'Jawan' trailer and share honest feedback with his dad.

‘Jawan’ has been directed by Atlee, produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma. The film will be released worldwide in theatres on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in a special appearance.
