‘Jawan:’ Deepika Padukone to reportedly make a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s action-packed film

‘Om Shanti Om’ co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will reportedly be sharing the screen again. According to a Pinkvilla report, the actors will be seen together in the upcoming film ‘Jawan,’ which is scheduled to release next year.

A source close to the development told Pinkvilla that Deepika has been in talks with SRK and Atlee for a while now and she is poised to make a short yet important appearance in the film. She has reportedly agreed in principle but the paperwork still remains.

The source further added that SRK and Atlee visited Hyderabad recently and met Deepika, who was shooting for her forthcoming film ‘Project K’ in the city.

‘Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee met the actress and even discussed the dynamics of her character as also the shoot dates,’ the source told Pinkvilla.

‘Jawan,’ which is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Rana Daggubati, and Sunil Grover. The intriguing teaser of the film was unveiled earlier this month.

‘Jawan’ will release pan-India in 5 languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, on June 2, 2023.

Apart from ‘Jawan,’ Deepika will reportedly have a special appearance in SRK’s ‘Pathan,’ which releases on January 25 next year, and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra,’ which will hit the theatres on September 9.
