Happy birthday, Ishaan Khatter: His unique and beautiful bond with brother Shahid Kapoor

Ishaan Khatter, son of actors Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem, is surely one of the stars to look out for in Bollywood. He made his first screen appearance as a child artist in the 2005 film ‘Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!’, starring his half-brother Shahid Kapoor. Ishaan got his first lead role in Majid Majidi's ‘Beyond the Clouds’ (2017). He then went on to star in films such as ‘Dhadak’ (2018), and ‘Kaali Peeli’ and in the British miniseries ‘A Suitable Boy’ (2020).

Ishaan shares a rare equation with Shahid Kapoor, son of Neelima from her first marriage with actor Pankaj Kapur. The duo often hangs out together and publicly supports each other.

The brother went on a trip to Europe in May 2022 along with actor Kunal Kemmu and some other friends. They had the best time of their life and shared glimpses of the whole trip with their fans on social media. Ishaan shared a post from the trip with brother Shahid and Kunal Kemmu captioning it as ‘Hangin’ out’. The last picture of the serious is the most hilarious and it reflects the actual bond between Ishaan and Shahid.

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’

On Shahid Kapoor’s birthday in February this year, his brother Ishaan took to social media and shared a classy picture of them from the celebration. The duo was seen posing together with the beach and the evening sky serving as the perfect background. Their swag was unmissable. He had captioned the photo as, ‘Bade miyan chotte miyan >>>>>>> Love you @shahidkapoor. keep conquering’.

Shahid had reshared Ishaan’s post on his Instagram story. ‘Love you. Always. Muah @ishaankhatter’, he wrote.

Childhood memories

On Shahid’s 40th birthday, Ishaan shared a collage of pictures – one from their childhood and the other which showed the grown-up brothers striking a pose together. Sharing the image, Ishaan penned a few lines from a famous song, ‘Zindagiiiiii kaisi hai paheli haaye. Kabhi toh hasaaye, kabhi yeh rulaaye. But through it all.. I’ll always love you, bade bhai. Happy birthday.’

‘We got it from our mama’

Shahid Kapoor shared a video from the 40th wedding anniversary of his parents-in-law featuring him with actor-brother Ishaan. The duo energetically grooved to the song ‘Roop Tera Mastana’ from the film ‘Aradhana’. Shahid captioned the video, ‘We got it from our mama’, and tagged his brother, and mother, Neliima Azeem.

Goofy together

On Ishaan’s birthday last year, Shahid took to Instagram to wish his brother and shared a few goofy pictures. He also penned a sweet note for him, and wrote, ‘Happy happy birthday @ishaankhatter by big little brother. I love you and you know that. May god bless you and may you shine bright just the way I know your beautiful soul does for the world to see.’ Many fans dropped heart emoji in the comment section.
