Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare wedding: Aamir Khan and ex-wife Reena Dutta’s houses decked up with lights

Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, is getting ready to tie the knot on January 3. Ahead of the big day, preparations have started at her parents' residences. Several images from Aamir and Reena's homes in Mumbai have emerged online, showcasing the festive decorations and lighting.

Additionally, a video shows two floors of Aamir's house adorned with charming fairy lights, while Reena's house is also adorned with flowers and lights in anticipation of the pre-wedding celebrations.

Ira has been offering a sneak peek into her pre-wedding rituals through her Instagram account. Recently, they conducted a Maharashtrian Kelvan ceremony, which was graced by her family and close friends. She shared a video featuring all the attendees, including Aamir's former spouse Kiran Rao and their son Azad Rao Khan, enjoying a meal together. However, Aamir himself was notably absent from the gathering.

In a video, Ira, who was the one capturing the moment, exclaimed, 'My goodness, folks, marry a Maharashtrian and experience a Kelvan. It's so much fun!'

Her dear friend, actor Mithila Palkar, also posted some candid pictures with the soon-to-be-married couple from the dinner.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare relationship

Ira got engaged to fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare earlier in 2022. Nupur had proposed to Ira at a sports event with a ring. They shared an adorable video from the proposal on Instagram and wrote, ‘Popeye: She said yes (smiling face with hearts and red heart emojis). Ira: Hehe (smiling face, face with hand over mouth emojis) I said yes.’

Their engagement ceremony was held in Mumbai. After their intimate wedding on January 3, the couple will reportedly hold a grand wedding reception.

As per a report from India Today, the reception will likely take place after January 10 and will see the presence of several Bollywood celebrities.
