IPL 2023 final: Ranveer Singh, Abhishek Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, others express excitement on CSK's win

MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans to clinch their fifth IPL title in a rain-interrupted, yet thrilling final on May 29. Several Bollywood celebrities who are ardent cricket lovers expressed their excitement on social media.

Actor Ranveer Singh was active on Twitter throughout the match. He praised Ravindrasinh Jadeja as he hit a six and a four off the last 2 balls to make CSK win the rain-curtailed match. The actor also appreciated the ‘fight and might’ of Gujarat Titans.

Abhishek Bachchan too congratulated Chennai Super Kings on their victory and acknowledged Gujarat Titans’ commendable performance.

Riteish Deshmukh appreciated Jadeja's winning shot, and described it as a ‘Fairy Tale finish.’

Kartik Aaryan, Athiya Shetty, and Sonu Sood also congratulated Chennai Super Kings for their victory.

The IPL final match was originally scheduled for May 28. It was postponed to a reserve day due to rain. Gujarat Titans had scored 214 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Due to the rain, the Chennai Super Kings had to achieve a target of 171 runs in 15 overs. They emerged victorious on the last ball, with Ravindra Jadeja playing a crucial role in securing their fifth IPL title.
