Inside Masaba Gupta's baby shower: Sonam and Rhea Kapoor host party for their dear friend; see photos

Fashion designer Masaba Gupta and actor Satyadeep Misra are preparing to welcome their first child in the coming weeks. The couple announced their pregnancy via an Instagram post in April this year. Actor Sonam Kapoor and producer Rhea Kapoor hosted a baby shower for Masaba at Anil Kapoor's residence in Mumbai.

The celebration was attended by Masaba's close friends and family, including her mother, Neena Gupta, and her husband, Satyadeep.

Masaba donned a light brown gown, while guests followed the brown, beige, and cream colour theme.

A cute video from the event featured Neena Gupta delivering a funny speech, commenting on the fashion choices of some guests, including Satyadeep, who was seen laughing. She was seen roasting him for wearing jeans to the baby shower. 'I told him not to wear jeans. White pant pehen leta'.

The party's decor featured golden balloons with white flowers.

Masaba posted a picture with Sonam and Rhea, captioning it, 'Best hosts ever... got too lucky...'

Soni Razdan also shared pictures from the party and wrote 'When you’re with the loveliest in the world, there is just no filter needed. Wishing the fabulous parents-to-be @masabagupta and @instasattu a super joy ride into parenthood.'

Masaba and Satyadeep tied the knot in January last year after starting their relationship in 2020, following their meeting on the set of Masaba Masaba. In April, the couple shared their pregnancy news. The caption read, 'In other news - two little feet are on their way to us! Please send love, blessings and banana chips... baby on board... mom and dad.'

Neena Gupta also shared Masaba's announcement on her Instagram, expressing her excitement with the words, 'Humare bacchon ka baccha aane Wala hai. Isse zyada Khushi ki baat Kya ho sakti hai'.
