India vs Bangladesh WC match: Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh praise Virat Kohli as he scores century

India continued its winning streak in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, winning over Bangladesh by 7 wickets on October 19. Virat Kohli scored a century which led to the team's victory.

Anushka Sharma, who has always been supportive of her husband, took to Instagram Stories to laud Kohli.

The proud wife shared the Instagram post of the Indian Cricket Team's official handle, which reads ‘Hundred! Number 48 in ODIs... Number 78 in international cricket... Take a bow King Kohli.’ She captioned the story with a heart-filled kiss emoji and a red heart emoji.

Ranveer Singh, who is an ardent cricket fan, shared a picture of Kohli's winning moment and wrote, 'The closer. Closing the debate'.

This was Virat Kohli's first World Cup hundred in 8 years.

Earlier this month, when India won against Pakistan, Anushka shared a photo of her husband and KL Rahul with a blue heart emoji to show her support for Virat and team India.

Virat-Anushka’s personal life

It is rumoured that Anushka Sharma is pregnant with her second baby. A source told Hindustan Times, ‘Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage’.

Addressing the actor’s lack of public appearances, the source claimed, ‘This isn’t a coincidence. She is staying away from the public eye to avoid speculation.’

The report also mentioned that the couple was recently spotted by the paparazzi outside a maternity clinic in Mumbai but requested that their photographs not be taken.

‘They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon,’ the source was quoted as saying.

Anushka’s work front

Anushka Sharma was last seen in a cameo role in the Netflix film ‘Qala’, starring Babil Khan and Tripti Dimri. She will next be seen in ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’, which will trace the journey of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
