Hrithik Roshan reviews ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’: 'Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor are so good'

‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, has opened to positive reviews. Actor Hrithik Roshan, who recently watched the rom-com, took to Twitter to share his review of the Luv Ranjan directorial. He said it was 'so difficult' to get the rom-com genre right, but the film's team had done 'well'. Hrithik also gave a shoutout to Ranbir and Shraddha for their performance in the film.

Hrithik Roshan tweeted, ‘Loved Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar! So difficult to get this genre right! Well done to the entire team ! Great work by everyone!! Ranbir and Shraddha are so good!’ He also added clapping emojis to his tweet.

‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ was released on March 8 and earned Rs 15.73 crore on its opening day. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office figures and wrote, ‘#TuJhoothiMainMakkaar does VERY WELL on Day 1… Got a boost due to #Holi festivities in several states, but lost out on substantial chunk of biz where #Holi was celebrated a day early [#Mumbai; working day]… Wed ₹ 15.73 cr. #India biz.’

Hrithik Roshan was last seen in ‘Vikram Vedha’ alongside Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. He is now working on an action film with Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, titled ‘Fighter’. It is directed by Siddharth Anand.
