Happy birthday, Shah Rukh Khan: Some instances that prove that King Khan is a doting dad

Shah Rukh Khan has portrayed his onscreen roles flawlessly over the last three decades of his cinematic career. Besides winning hearts with his performance, the actor has also left everyone in awe by showing his cool dad side on social media. So, here is a look at some instances when we got to see his fondness for his children - AbRam, Suhana, and Aryan.

Awestruck by daughter

Recently, Suhana took Instagram and shared a picture of her look from actor Bhumi Pednekar's Diwali party. She wore a beautiful Manish Malhotra saree for the event. Sharing the pictures, she put a yellow heart in the caption, and tagged designer Manish Malhotra. SRK was quick to react to his daughter's post. He commented, ‘The speed at which they grow up, defies the laws of time... so elegant and graceful ( did you tie the saree urself?)’, to which, Suhana Khan replied, ‘Love you, uhh no, Gauri Khan did it for me.’ Suhana's mother Gauri Khan also reacted to the post and wrote that sarees are timeless.

Like father, like son

Recently, Aryan Khan did a photo shoot for a sports clothing brand and shared a few pictures from the new advertisement on Instagram. SRK could not resist praising his son in the comment section. He even asked Aryan if the T-shirt he is wearing in one of the photos belongs to him. To this, Aryan had an epic reply, tagging his dad, he wrote, ‘Your genes and t-shirt’.

Later, Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to draw a comparison between himself and Aryan. He shared a picture of himself from his movie ‘Main Hoon Na’ and wrote that his son is just like him.

When SRK couldn’t keep calm Aryan Khan ended his year-long Instagram hiatus in August this year by sharing a picture with his siblings Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. He captioned the post, ‘Hat-trick’. The adorable pictures of the siblings garnered immense love from fans as well as SRK. Reacting to the post, the actor questioned why he didn’t have the pictures and asked his son to share them with him.

Aryan Khan was quick to reply that he’ll send them to him the next time he posts.

SRK cheering for Suhana

The teaser of Suhana’s Bollywood debut ‘The Archies’ was unveiled in May this year. SRK, the proud father, shared it on Instagram and also penned golden advice for his daughter. He asked her to remember that she is never going to be perfect but being herself is going to be the closest to that. He further mentioned that the road to people’s hearts is unending, and she should stride forth and make people smile.

She responded to his post by his post by saying that she loves him. SRK was quick to acknowledge her comment on his post and he asked her to take a day off from work and come home to give him a hug. Suhana replied that she’s an actor now and she will not be able to take holidays. However, she immediately revealed that she was kidding and was already on her way home.

‘Proud and inspired’ Shah Rukh Khan shared a photo collage of AbRam winning a medal in karate and wrote that his kids have more awards than he does.

Learning from his kids

Shah Rukh Khan has shown that one must not shy away from seeking help, even if it’s from your children. He shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the sets of his 2018 film ‘Zero’ where his daughter is seen helping him memorize the lyrics of the song ‘Mere Naam Tu’.
