Happy Birthday, Kriti Kharbanda: A look at some of her Bollywood movies

Actor Kriti Kharbanda started her career as a model, and made her acting debut in 2009 with the Telugu film ‘Boni’. She went on to star in many South films and received a SIIMA Award for Best Actress (Critics) for her performance in the 2014 film ‘Super Ranga’. She made her Hindi film debut with ‘Raaz: Reboot’ in 2016.

On her special day, here is a look at some of her Bollywood films.

Housefull 4 (2019)

The fourth installment of ‘Housefull’ franchise starred Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles.

Six lovers, who had to part ways in 1419, meet again six centuries later only to realise that they are marrying the wrong partners. This reincarnation drama is turned into a comedy of errors with a series of mishaps.

Veerey Ki Wedding (2018)

Kriti co-starred with her boyfriend Pulkit Samrat and Jimmy Shergill in this romantic comedy. Veer and Geet fall are in love and want to get married to each other. However, they face a hurdle after the groom-to-be messes up his first meeting with Geet’s peace-loving father.

Guest in London (2017)

This comedy starred Kriti Kharbanda along with Kartik Aaryan, Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi.
Aryan and his partner Anaya are in a live-in relationship in London. However, their relationship becomes turbulent when Gangasharan and Guddi, their uncle and aunt from India, come to their house uninvited.

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana (2017)

Kriti played the role of Aarti Shukla who meets Satyendra Mishra for an arranged marriage and ends up falling in love with him. However, their lives change completely when she runs away on their wedding day to pursue her career.

Raaz: Reboot (2016)

Kriti co-starred with Emraan Hashmi in this horror thriller film, written and directed by Vikram Bhatt. The fourth instalment in the horror film series, ‘Raaz’, narrates the story of newly-weds Rehaan and Shaina. The couple moves to Romania after Rehaan is offered a job. However, Shaina senses paranormal activity around her, and learns that her husband is keeping a secret from her.
