Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul's wedding: Know more about the actor and her romance with the cricketer

Athiya Shetty is the daughter of star Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty. She made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with ‘Hero’, co-starring Sooraj Pancholi. After that, she went on to star in ‘Mubarakan’ and ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’. She also made a special appearance in the song ‘Tere Naal Nachna’ from ‘Nawabzaade’.

Athiya Shetty attended the American School of Bombay and actors Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor were her seniors by two years.

A degree from New York Film Academy
Athiya earned a degree in Filmmaking and Liberal Arts from New York Film Academy. The institute’s alumni include Aubrey Plaza and Shaquille O’Neal.

Athiya Shetty grabbed headlines over her relationship with cricketer KL Rahul.
Designer Vikram Phadnis had partially confirmed their relationship with his series of comments teasing the actor with the cricketer. After he let the cat out of the bag, it was reported that the duo had been dating since February 2019. The couple made their first public appearance together at the premiere of Ahaan Shetty's debut film ‘Tadap’.

In August 2022, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul reportedly moved in together and found a home on Carter Road, Bandra. A source close to the couple told Pinkvilla that Mana and Suniel Shetty performed Grih Pravesh puja at their new house in July.

Athiya and KL Rahul tried to keep their relationship low-key, but the duo often shared pictures together. Athiya has often accompanied the cricketer during his international tours and vacations.

KL Rahul suffered an injury last year during a tournament and had undergo groin surgery in Germany. Athiya accompanied him for the same and was with him through his recovery.
