Govinda reconciles with Krushna Abhishek after 6-year feud; attends latter's sister Arti Singh's wedding

Actor Govinda made a grand entry at his niece Arti Singh’s wedding in Mumbai on April 25. Fans were uncertain about Govinda attending Arti's wedding, given his absence from her pre-wedding events like Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies. His relationship with nephew Krushna Abhishek, Arti's elder brother, had soured since a major fallout in 2018. However, it appears Govinda has chosen to reconcile.

In a viral video, Govinda is seen entering Arti's wedding with a smile, warmly greeting paparazzi outside the venue with folded hands.

Govinda looked striking in a black Jodhpuri. He attended the wedding sans his wife Sunita Ahuja and children Yashvardhan and Tina.

About the 2018 fallout

In 2018, Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja, criticized Kashmera Shah for a tweet about ‘people who dance for money,’ alleging it was aimed at Govinda. This led to the couple cutting ties with Kashmera and Krushna Abhishek. Krushna clarified that the tweet was about his sister Arti Singh, but this did not resolve the issue. The incident caused a public rift between the two families.

The star-studded event included many prominent figures from the industry. Actor Karan Singh Grover and his wife, Bipasha Basu, were also seen at the wedding. Karan wore a white traditional sherwani, while Bipasha looked stunning in a pink salwar suit.

Groom’s grand entry

The groom Dipak made his grand entry with his baraatis. In a video, he is seen riding a horse in his wedding procession, surrounded by dancing friends and family. He wore a white sherwani and safa with gold details, along with a garland of white roses around his neck.

Arti and her fiancé, Dipak Chauhan, hosted a lavish Sangeet ceremony, attended by TV celebrities like Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Mahira Sharma, Yuvika Chaudhary, and Bharti Singh. Videos from the event flooded social media, with fans captivated by Arti's pre-wedding celebrations.

In a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Arti and Dipak cut a massive three-tier cake. Another video shows Arti, her actor-brother Krushna Abhishek, and sister-in-law Kashmera Shah distributing sweets to paparazzi and greeting them with folded hands.
