‘Ghoomer’ teaser: Abhishek Bachchan-Saiyami Kher starrer is a tribute to reservoir of human resilience

Actor Abhishek Bachchan took to social media on July 31 to share the teaser of his forthcoming movie ‘Ghoomer’, co-starring Saiyami Kher.

The R Balki directorial is all set to release in cinemas on August 18.

The movie showcases the journey and life of a paraplegic sportsperson who is guided by her coach.

Saiyami Kher stars as the sportsperson and the coach is played by Abhishek.

'Ghoomer' also stars Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi in significant roles.

Soon after Abhishek Bachchan shared the teaser on his social media pages, celebrities like Nimrat Kaur, Suniel Shetty, and Kunal Kapoor showered him with love.

‘Ghoomer’ is all set to open at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.

One of the biggest film festivals outside India will take place from August 11 to 20, 2023.

The event promises mesmerizing performances during its opening night and also a remarkable cinematic experience.

Talking about IFF, director Balki and actor Abhisgek Bachchan in a joint statement, said, ‘It’s indeed an honour and pleasure for us that Ghoomer will be the opening film at the IFFM.
