Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: Injured Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra welcome Lord Ganesha home

Actor Shilpa Shetty and Businessman Raj Kundra kicked off Ganesha Chaturthi festivities by welcoming Lord Ganesha home. The duo brings an idol of Lord Ganesha home every year for the festival, however, this time, the actor could not join her husband as he went out to bring the idol home. She recently fractured her leg while filming for an upcoming project but managed to walked out through walker to receive Lord Ganesha as the idol carrying the car arrived. The couple were pictured by paparazzi welcoming the Lord on their home.

A video shared by a paparazzi account on Instagram shows Shilpa and Raj twinning in white. Raj can be seen wearing a full-face glass mask. Shilpa on the other hand is seen smiling and waving at cameras. The couple also held a small pooja ceremony before carrying the idol in her home.

Shilpa Shetty is currently dealing with an injury after fracturing her leg during the filming of her upcoming movie. Still keeping her public appearance, she dressed up and attended an award ceremony in a wheelchair last week. She will be seen next in Rohit Shetty's web series Indian Police Force, alongside Sidharth Malhotra which is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video next year.

Raj Kundra was arrested in July last year in a pornography case and was accused as one of the people involved in the production and streaming of adult videos. He was granted bail in the case in September last year and recently filed a plea before the court denying any link with the sale of pornographic material. Raj is almost always sporting a face mask when he steps out since he was arrested.
