'Gadar 2': Sunny Deol talks about recreating hand pump scene; it's the only thing that people remember

Actor Sunny Deol, whose latest release 'Gadar 2' is smashing box-office records, was asked about the iconic handpump scene at a press conference.

The actor said that earlier he was hesitant to do something that has already been done but director Anil Sharma explained the sequence and it was very interesting.

He added that when they were shooting they knew what they were doing.

Sunny continued that handpump is an iconic thing that people still remember and they tend to forget that this is a love story.

'Gadar 2' is a sequel to 2001 hit film 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha'. Sunny and Ameesha Patel reprise their roles as Tara Singh and Sakina respectively.

The movie is set against the backdrop of Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. Tara travels to Pakistan to bring back his son Charanjeet.
