In a courageous act, Khushboo Patani, the sister of Bollywood actress Disha Patani, rescued an abandoned infant from a dilapidated building in Bareilly on Sunday morning.

The infant, approximately nine to ten months old, was found with visible injuries on its face and was crying when Khushboo discovered it.

According to police officials, Khushboo was out for a morning walk near her residence when she heard the cries of the baby coming from an abandoned structure. Despite there being no direct access to the building, Khushboo climbed over a wall to reach the infant, who was lying on the ground inside the building.

Circle Officer (City-I) Pankaj Srivastava confirmed the details, stating, "There was no direct access to the structure, so she took the courageous step of climbing over a wall to reach the spot. Inside, she found an infant lying on the ground, crying and with visible injuries on the face."

After rescuing the child, Khushboo brought it home and immediately administered first aid before informing the police. The infant was later admitted to the district hospital, where it is currently receiving treatment.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area in an attempt to identify the individual responsible for abandoning the baby. Srivastava assured, "Efforts are underway to trace those responsible for leaving the baby in such a condition."

Khushboo Patani’s brave act has been widely praised by the local community.

As per the latest update, police has found the baby's parents, according to the post shared by Khushboo.
