Ahead of the film’s release, let's take a look at some of the notable performances by the actor.

      Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (2013)
The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, starred Ranbir Kapoor as Kabir, who has an unconventional outlook in life. He falls in love with his introvert ex-classmate on a trekking trip. However, his desire to explore the world drives them apart. They cross paths again after years.

The movie reaffirmed that it is important to savour every moment and create lasting memories while living life to the fullest.

      Rockstar (2011)
The Imtiaz Ali directorial starred Ranbir Kapoor as Janardhan, who aspired to be a rockstar. He strongly believed that a man must endure pain and suffering to bring out the artist in them. He proposes Heer, the most beautiful girl in Delhi University, in order to get his heart broken.

      Tamasha (2015)
In this coming-of-age drama, Ranbir portrays the role of Ved, who is puzzled in life as he tries to follow acceptable conventions of society. The Imtiaz Ali directorial revolves around Ved’s journey of self-discovery.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani (2009)
The film narrates the story of Prem, a free-spirited boy, who falls in love with a Christian girl Jenny. However, when he learns that she’s in love with her college sweetheart, he willingly sacrifices his love and helps her get married to the love of her life.

      Barfi (2012)
