Krishnakumar Kunnath died shortly after his performance at Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha on Tuesday. His sudden demise has left everyone shocked.

The eminent singer, in a career spanning over three decades, has voiced more than 500 songs in various languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, and Malayalam.

KK began his career by singing jingles and released his first album, titled 'Pal,' in 1999.

His first Bollywood song was 'Chod Aaye Hum Voh Galliyan' from the 1996 movie 'Maachis.' He sang the song along with Hariharan, Suresh Wadkar, and Vinod Sehgal.

KK won many hearts over the years. Here is a look at some of his most popular songs.

'Pyaar ke Pal' (1999)

This soulful track from his debut album propelled him to instant stardom in the 90s. It is still widely played during college and school farewells.

'Yaaron dosti' (1999)

This song from KK's cover track for the film 'Rockford' celebrates friendship and love.

'Tu Hi meri shab hai' (2006)

The song from the film 'Gangster: A Love Story,' features Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi. The music for this number has been composed by Pritam Chakraborty.

'Aankhon Mein Teri' (2007)

Featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the track is from Farah Khan directorial 'Om Shanti Om.'

'Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai' (2006)

The song was a hit number in the film 'Woh Lamhe,' starring Kangana Ranaut and Shiney Ahuja. The music for this number was directed by Pritam Chakraborty.

'Khuda Jaane' (2008)

One of the most loved songs of the year, was part of the film 'Bachna Ae Haseeno,' starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Bipasha Basu. The music for the track was composed by Vishal and Shekhar.
