From fit to fat? Kartik Aaryan says he gained 14 kg for upcoming film 'Freddy'

Kartik Aaryan is leaving no stone unturned for his upcoming film 'Freddy', ensuring that he gets under the skin of the character.

Recently, Kartik said that he underwent a major physical transformation prepping for the film, and had to gain 14 kilos to do justice to his role.

The actor's fitness trainer Samir Jaura says, that transformations are not just about weight loss, and also involve putting on extra kilos if needed. She was all praise for Kartik's dedication to his fitness regime, she said that he followed the right diet and a disciplined workout schedule to achieve the look.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, 'Freddy' is being directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The film also stars Alaya F opposite Kartik Aryan, as the female lead.
