From Anushka-Virat to Kareena-Saif to Sonam-Anand, here's how the power couples rang in the new year

New Years eve was a quiet celebration for most celebrities but still fun and special in their own ways. Here’s how the industry welcomed 2022.

Soha Ali Khan has shared a glimpse of her New Year dinner with brother, Saif Ali Khan and sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor. The actor shared a picture for proof and even mentioned that only 50 per cent of her near and dear ones attended the dinner.

All of them were also seen wearing golden hats with ‘Happy New Year’ written on them as they all showed their excitement for the camera.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone seem to have dined-in together as they rang in the New Year with some food and fun. Ranveer shared a video of Deepika enjoying a delicacy as he wished his fans a Happy New Year. It shows Deepika all dressed up in an off-shoulder attire, complemented with a necklace and hair neatly tied in a bun.

In the video, Ranveer is heard asking her, “Having fun baby?” She replies in his 83 accent, “We are here to enjoy, what else we here for.” Her accent seems to be inspired from Ranveer's accent in the film 83, in which he plays former cricketer Kapil Dev.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently in South Africa where they partied their hearts out. Anushka posted photos of her New Year's Eve featuring beau Virat Kohli, some close friends and a beautiful three-tier cake to welcome to new year.

She also posted a photo with Virat and captioned it, “The year that got us the greatest happiness I’ve known. So, deepest gratitude 2021, thank you!”

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja welcomed 2022 in a chic way with a lavish meal they hosted at their London home. Sonam wore a stunning black Taller Marmo dress and paired it with diamond accessories to complete her look. The dinner set-up was extravagant with a beautifully lit up Christmas tree around to complement the holiday spirit.
