‘Fighter’: Here’s why Deepika Padukone will miss the trailer launch

‘Fighter,’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, has generated significant excitement among fans. To increase the anticipation, the filmmakers are planning to unveil the trailer on January 15, but it appears that Deepika Padukone is unwell and won't be able to attend the trailer launch event. Taking to her social media handle, Deepika wrote, ‘Will Miss My Squadron…’

This comes after director Siddharth Anand and Deepika Padukone unfollowed each other on Instagram. Siddharth follows only 20 social media accounts. These include the official accounts of the cast of ‘Fighter’ — Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi — ‘War’ star Tiger Shroff, ‘Pathaan’ actor Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Mahira Khan, and Bipasha Basu, among a few others.
On the other hand, Deepika follows 186 accounts.

‘Fighter’ marks Siddharth and Deepika’s third collaboration. The film is headlined by Hrithik Roshan and also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in key roles.
‘Fighter’ is presented by Viacom18 Studios in association with Marflix Pictures. The film promises to give an edge-of-the-seat experience.
While the teaser and the songs have introduced the audience to the spirit of ‘Fighter’, the makers are now gearing up for the release of its trailer. On January 14, the makers dropped a motion poster along with the caption, ‘Target is locked and loaded. #FighterTrailer on 15th January, 12:00 PM IST. #Fighter Forever #FighterOn25thJan releasing worldwide. Experience on the big screen in IMAX 3D.’
‘Fighter’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 25, and it is reported that this Siddharth Anand directorial will be presented in 3D. The director aims to create a truly memorable and immersive cinematic experience for the audience, as reported by Pinkvilla.

‘It’s an aerial action entertainer designed for a big screen experience and the idea is to transport the audience into the world of this adrenaline thumping film. Fighter will release in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day – January 25, 2024,’ a source told the portal.

Apart from ‘Fighter’, Deepika will be next seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ which is releasing on May 9, 2024. She also has ‘The Intern’ with Amitabh Bachchan in her kitty.
