Father Dharmendra upset about Esha Deol’s separation with husband, wishes to see the couple reunite

A week after Esha Deol announced to part ways with her husband Bharat Takhtani, reports have now emerged that Esha’s father, veteran actor Dharmendra, is not happy about their separation. According to a report by Bollywood Life, Dharmendra is sad and wants his daughter and son-in-law to reconsider their decision.

Dharmendra wants Esha-Bharat to reconsider

Esha’s father, Dharmendra, is reportedly not against her decision but thinks it might affect their children adversely. Esha and Bharat are parents to two daughters, Radhya and Miraya, who are reportedly close to their parents' families.

Another report suggests that Esha’s mother Hema Malini is supportive of her daughter and does not want to meddle in her personal affairs. However, there has been no official reaction from the couple's families on their decision to pursue divorce.

Esha Deol, who knew Bharat from her teenage years, married him in 2012 after dating him for some years. The couple was blessed with their first daughter Radhya in 2017, while their second daughter Miraya was born in 2019. After 11 years of marriage, the couple announced to part ways earlier this month.

Announcing their decision to separate, the couple said in a joint statement, ““We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected."
