Esha Deol was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport for the first time since she announced her separation from her husband, Bharat Takhtani. The actor stopped for a brief chit-chat session with paps as she walked towards the terminal.

Esha Deol's first appearance after divorce

Esha Deol made her first public appearance on Monday after confirming her separation from her husband, Bharat Takhtani, on February 6. Esha was spotted at the Mumbai airport as she was heading out of the city. While she maintained a low-key front, she obliged to paps wishes for pictures and videos. When the paps asked her how she's been keeping up, she waved at fans and responded, "Mai theek hoon."

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani's separation

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani announced their separation with a joint statement. The couple told the Delhi Times, "We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this transition in our lives, the well-being and welfare of our two children remain our utmost priorities. We kindly request that our privacy be respected during this time."

Esha and Bharat tied the knot at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai on June 29, 2012. The couple was blessed with their first daughter, Radhya, in 2017. They welcomed their second daughter, Miraya, in 2019.
