‘Emergency’: Shreyas Talpade to play Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Kangana Ranaut's directorial

Kangana Ranaut shared the first look of Shreyas Talpade from her upcoming film, ‘Emergency’. She captioned the post, ‘Presenting @shreyastalpade27 as Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee in #Emergency, a true nationalist whose love and pride for the nation was unparalleled and who was a young upcoming leader during the time of Emergency.’

The actor will portray the role of young Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who served three terms as India's Prime Minister. Shreyas Talpade has also shared his look from the film on Instagram and thanked Kangana Ranaut for seeing Atal Ji in him.

Earlier, Kangana who portrays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, shared the teaser of 'Emergency' and left everyone impressed with her accent and look. Anupam Kher is also a part of ‘Emergency’ and will be seen as revolutionary leader JP Narayan.

'Emergency', written and directed by Kangana, went on floors earlier this month.
