'Ek Villain Returns': John Abraham and Disha Patani's film gets a new release date

'Ek Villain Returns', the much-awaited sequel to the 2014 romantic thriller, 'Ek Villain' has got a new release date. The film will now be releasing on July 29, 2022. 'Ek Villain Returns' was earlier scheduled to be released on July 8.

This Mohit Suri directed film stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in the lead roles. With the film’s release date being July 29, 2022, it will now be clashing with the Sidharth Malhotra-starrer, 'Thank God' at the box office.

Sharing the news, Mohit Suri took to Twitter and announced the new release date. "#EkVillainReturns gets a new release date, 29th July 2022", the filmmaker tweeted.

The film is being produced by Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Telefilms and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.

'Ek Villain Returns' revolves around the story of two villains (played by John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor).
