'Do Aur Do Pyar' vs 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2' box office: Which film fared better? Know here

It was a lukewarm opening day at the box office for recently released films, 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2' and 'Do Aur Do Pyaar'. While the Dibakar Banerjee directorial raked in just Rs 15 lakhs on day 1, the Vidya Balan and Prateek Gandhi starrer minted Rs 50 lakhs on the opening day. Despite releasing on Cinema Lovers' Day, with many theatres offering a buy one get one offer on tickets, the box office performances of both films have disappointed fans. 'Do Aur Do Pyaar 'has garnered mixed reviews from the moviegoers, while 'LSD 2' has mostly fallen short of expectations.

'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2' box office collection:

As per a report by Sacnilk.com, 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2' produced by Ektaa R Kapoor, did not have a good first day in thates. The film collected just an estimated ₹15 lakh nett in India on Friday, recording an overall 5.48 per cent Hindi occupancy on day 1.

Do Aur Do Pyaar box office collection:

According to the industry tracker, 'Do Aur Do Pyaar' minted ₹50 lakh at the box office. The film’s release coincided with Cinema Lovers Day, where many theatres offered a buy one get one offer on tickets; however, it failed to bank on it. The film, also featuring Ileane D'Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy, witnessed a poor overall occupancy of 9.10% on Friday.
