Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna join Sidharth Malhotra in new Dharma action franchise 'Yodha'

Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna have been roped in as leading ladies alongside Sidharth Malhotra, for Dharma Productions' action film 'Yodha'.

The film will be directed by debutant director duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, and is being bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and filmmaker Shashank Khaitan.

The news of the female lead in 'Yodha' was shared on social media by Dharma Productions, 'Our two female leads of #Yodha are coming to hijack your hearts - welcoming Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna to the family.' 'Yodha' marks the first collaboration between Dharma Productions and Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.

Sidharth has previously collaborated with the banner on films like 'Student of the Year'' 'Hasee Toh Phasee,' 'Kapoor & Sons,' and most recently 'Shershaah.'

Disha and Raashii both shared the news on social media and expressed their delight to be a part of the action franchise. 'Super glad to join this action packed journey! I’m ready for take off guys, let’s go!', wrote Disha.

She has been part of films such as 'M S Dhoni: The Untold Story,' 'Baaghi 2' with Tiger Shroff and 'Radhe' with Salman Khan.

'I am extremely honoured & excited to announce that I will be joining team #Yodha,' Raashii Khanna stated.

Raashii made her acting debut in John Abraham's 'Madras Cafe,' and has since appeared in films such as 'Bengal Tiger,' 'Supreme' and many more Tamil and Telugu films.

Karan Johar's film 'Yodha' will be released on November 11, 2022.
