Deepika Padukone is ready to make her Cop Universe debut. The actor will star as Lady Singham in Rohit Shetty's upcoming film 'Singham Again', headlined by Ajay Devgn. Now, a few pictures of Deepika in her cop avatar have taken the internet by storm, which show the mom-to-be exuding unparalleled swag.

Deepika Padukone recently began shooting for her upcoming film, 'Singham Again', and her pictures from the sets have now taken social media by storm. During the film's shoot, the mom-to-be donned a police uniform while portraying Shakti Shetty, her character in the film. She is seen wearing a pair of black sunglasses, while her hair is tied in a neat bun. In addition to Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor are also featured in 'Singham Again'.

The makers of the 'Singham' franchise introduced Shakti Shetty in October last year. Looking rowdy in the cop uniform with a gun in hand, Deepika made waves with her first look as the first lady cop of the 'Singham' franchise. “NAARI SITA KA BHI ROOP HAI AUR DURGA KA BHI… MEET THE MOST BRUTAL AND VIOLENT OFFICER OF OUR COP UNIVERSE… SHAKTI SHETTY… MY LADY SINGHAM… DEEPIKA PADUKONE. (sic),” Rohit captioned the post. Rohit also revealed Arjun’s sinister look from the film on social media.

About Deepika's pregnancy

Deepika and Ranveer, who tied the knot in 2018, in Italy’s Lake Como, announced their pregnancy in February with an adorable post. The couple also shared that they will welcome their first child in September. The duo was recently seen attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar.

Kicking off the year on a flying note, Deepika starred opposite Hrithik Roshan in 'Fighter'. The actor will next feature in 'Singham Again'. She also has 'Kalki 2898 AD' in the pipeline. Padukone is expected to begin the shooting of her upcoming film, 'The Intern' this year.
