Confirmed: Hema Malini’s performance at Ayodhya; know the date and other details

Preparations are in full swing for the grand Ram Temple inauguration in Ayodhya. While many Bollywood stars like Kangana Ranaut, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have received the invitation for the mega event, ‘Dreamgirl’ Hema Malini has confirmed herself to the media that she will also be present in Ayodhya to witness the historic consecration. Not only will the actor turned politician mark her presence but also perform a dance drama based on 'Ramayana'.

In a video clip released by Hema Malini’s office, the BJP MP informed her fans and devotees that she will attend the ‘Pran Prathisha’ and perform along with her team. The dance drama performance of the veteran actor is scheduled on January 17, five days ahead of the grand consecration ceremony. It will be based on ‘Ramayan’ and would set the tone for the upcoming events.

The veteran Bollywood actor is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. Last year, she performed a dance drama in her Lok Sabha constituency Mathura in the honour of Sant Mirabai’s 525th birth celebration. Starting her political journey, she became a member of BJP in 2003 and is currently a member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha. She was recently spotted at the wedding celebration of Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare in Mumbai.
