Titled 'Shiva', in the teaser, we hear Ranbir Kapoor’s voice over say "duniya main kuch ho raha hai, Isha'" and Alia Bhatt’s voice ask "tumhe kya dikh raha hai Shiva'", as his silhouette turns into light, a 3D image of a forearm with a ring of fire appears on screen, and we are introduced to Ranbir Kapoor dressed in a ripped white shirt and jeans holding a golden 'trident', described as of one of the most and powerful ‘astras’ or weapons in Indian mythology.

Filmmaker Ayan Mukherji describes 'Brahamastra' as a modern myth, tapping into the treasure trove of Indian mythology and setting it in contemporary times.

The film’s cast and crew had been building up the momentum to the poster launch over the last few days with social media posts.

One of the most ambitious and anticipated projects, ‘Brahamastra’ promises a cinematic spectacle, exotic locales across Israel, Hungary, grand scale production and use of high-end technology and VFX.

The film marks Ranbir Kapoor’s return to screen after a gap of three years, he was last seen in the Sanjay Dutt biopic 'Sanju' in 2018. The film is also his first onscreen pairing with girlfriend Alia Bhatt.

'Brahmastra' also stars an eclectic line up of stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles and will be released across five languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
