Music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri has passed away today at Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital. He was 69. He popularised disco music in the industry in the 1970s and 1980s.

Bappi Lahiri's last rites will be held at Pawan Hans Crematorium on Thursday after his son Bappa arrives from the USA.
