Badhaai Do: Rajkummar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar's new song 'Gol Gappa' has people dancing to its tune

Junglee Pictures’ 'Badhaai Do' has scored a hattrick of catchy, chartbuster tracks with its third hit, 'Gol Gappa'. The promotional Punjabi track is picturised on the film’s lead pair Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao. The lyrics use the tangy street food of ‘ gol gappa’ as a reference to biceps. The song has an old-world vibe to it, and the video features some fun dance steps that are reminiscent of the puppet shows of yore.

Composed and sung by Amit Trivedi, the track has been written by Anvita Dutt and also features Neha Kakkar’s vocals.

Rajkummar said that he had a great time shooting 'Gol Gappa'. This song is a perfect blend of colour, dance, and music, he added. Bhumi said that 'Gol Gappa' is a song that will take the audience to a vibrant and colourful world. The hook line of the song will get stuck in one’s head for sure.

'Badhaai Do' is a sequel to the multiple National Award-winning film 'Badhaai Ho', directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni for Junglee Pictures. The film will be released in theatres on February 11.
