‘Bad Newz’ makers asked to modify Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s 27 second kiss scene

Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk starrer ‘Bad Newz’ is all set to hit the theatres this week. As fans excitedly wait for the comedy riot, CBFC has granted U/A certificate to the film. According to the reports, the film censor board has asked for modification in three scenes.

3 scenes censored in ‘Bad Newz’

Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri have been making headlines for their sizzling chemistry in ‘Bad Newz’ songs. Social media has been buzzing with reviews and the songs of the film are trending on various platforms. While the audience’s anticipation is raising, CBFC committee has censored three intimate scenes from the film. Infact, the board has asked the makers to modify the ‘visual of lip-lock' and no frames have been cut.

Besides, the CBFC requested for some minor changes which included replacing a disclaimer, anti-alcoholic static, and the font size of the anti-alcohol static. According to the censor certificate, the film is 2 hours and 22 minutes long.

‘Bad Newz’ revolves around a woman (Dimri) who is carrying twins, but with different fathers, played by Kaushal and Virk. The actor has become an internet sensation with 'Tauba Tauba', a post-credit number that's being constantly recreated in reels. Kaushal's dancing in the song has been praised by industry seniors like Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, ‘Bad Newz’ has been produced by Amritpal Singh Bindra, Apoorva Mehta and Karan Johar. The film is slated to release on July 19.
