Ayushmann Khurrana dances with OG 'Dream Girl' Hema Malini; thanks her for being inspiration | watch

Ahead of the release of his movie 'Dream Girl 2', Ayushmann Khurrana paid tribute to Bollywood's original 'dream girl' Hema Malini.

Ayushmann danced with Hema on the song 'Dream Girl' from the 1977 film 'Dream Girl.' Hema lights up the screen with her smile as she dances with Ayushmann with elegance and poise.

Sharing the video on Instagram, the veteran actor wrote, 'Had an amazing time reminiscing my old days with the new Dream Girl @ayushmannk. #DreamGirl2 in Cinemas on 25th August.'

Ayushmann also shared a glimpse of the special moment and thanked Hema Malini for being an inspiration.

Fans have showered the actors with love. One of them called Hema Malini as 'timeless beauty', while another wrote, 'wow dream girl'.

Many fans dropped fire and heart emojis in the comments section of the post.

For the unversed, Hema Malini earned the title of Dream Girl after working in the 1968 Raj Kapoor movie 'Sapno Ka Saudagar'. During the film’s promotion, Hema was referred to as ‘Dream Girl’ on the posters.

Later, she starred in the 1977 film 'Dream Girl' with Dharmendra.

'Dream Girl 2', which also stars Ananya Panday, will release on August 25.

The film is a sequel to the hit 2019 film 'Dream Girl'. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, the film also stars Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh and Abhishek Banerjee.
